Technical Service Specialist
The Technical Service Specialist is a unique role blending technical support and customer service. This professional is tasked with supporting our clients by maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting errors, and repairing hardware using knowledge in networking and software applications to provide technical support for customers onsite and remotely through remote support, chat, and phone calls. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technology and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide single point of contact help desk support
- Provide support to the customer onsite by answering, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming telephone, voicemail, and email requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related issues
- Work service tickets onsite and remote
- Follow up with users and 3rd party vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner
- On boarding and off boarding users and work stations
- Server and workstation support including projects and new hardware implementations
- Network management and troubleshooting
- Document resolutions and improve company procedures
